In Bug Finding
Hello all! This could not be a bug and, hopefully, you will be able to help me if it's not the case. I'm really new in electronic so, if I did a stupide thing, please stay cool with me! 😋 I try to reproduce what Ben Eater does in one of his video. I totally know that I will never have a switch bouncing using the CRUMB simulator but I just try to reproduce his work. Here is the circuit I did and, I think, I reproduced exactly what he does in the video. Here is the voltage in the circuit when I turn the power on: According to his explanations, by turning the pin 2 to low, the 555 should set the SR latch to high that will close the "discharge" and allow the capacitor to receive current. At the moment that the voltage will be at 2/3, the discharge should re-open and let the capacitor... Discharging! But it's not what happen. When I click the button, the pin 2 turn low but the capacitor never charge. Here is the voltage in the circuit when I hit the button. I tried with a bigger capacitor and a smaller resistance but I got the exact same result. In that circuit, the capacitor is at 0.01mF and the resistance is at 1MΩ Again, it could be my error and, if it's the case, I'm sorry to put that message in the bug section. Thank you for your help!
