I'm a bit confused as to when the Arduino outputs 5V from pin 11.
I put a resistor between 5V and GND and there was no voltage across the pins:

However, the pong example that comes with the software shows a voltage across the pins:

How do I produce a voltage between 5V (pin 11) and GND (pin 13) please? Thanks.
You need to supply power to the arduino
