Removing the LEDs increased performance by quite a bit. Some sort of indicator in the future would be awesome because it's much easier to visualize what's in the registers using the LEDs than using voltage view, but for now, it should be fine as I know the circuit works, and I can continue on. You could try an android emulator. I currently use bluestacks, I'm not sure how well it'll run on a laptop though. Should be alright. But yea, I have troubles doing anything on my phone without zooming in a lot, fingers are too big lol

Some people like to keep their personal projects, personal. I see no fault of that. This is Mike's project, and if he would like to work on it himself, as opposed to letting other people modify his code, that's his choice. As a programmer, I do generally open source 90% of things I make, but I definitely have a few projects that I keep to myself.

You can! Create a project and save it with a certain name. Then open said project, select Save As again within the menu, give it a new name, and save. It will keep the old project, and create a new one with the new name.

Hello, all. I've been a lover of programming since I was 14, and so when I learned of Arduinos and RPis, I had to have a few. My favourite thing of programming is being able to watch a few lines of code make something wonderful, so being able to see this physically as opposed to in a game, or on a website, was amazing. I haven't dabbled too far into circuitry, so some uses of ICs and such, I'm not too familiar with. I did very basic things like setting up light strips around my house, like around my ceiling, under furniture, etc and getting them working through Alexa is about as far as I ever went. It's hard to find a certain project I will want to do and then buy the parts for them, and I've never just splurged and bought a lot of ICs to test with. This simulator gives me the ability to keep learning without having to purchase ICs, more components, jumper cables, etc I am currently hoping to replicate BenEater's 8 bit computer within this sim, as I think a lot of people are trying to do. I've watched the series a couple times on Youtube, but without actually testing and doing it myself, you can only retain so much information. Also, it seems when the circuit is first starting, instead of latching onto a certain state, this is happening: https://i.imgur.com/pDkjogU.gif (Happening much faster than the GIF shows) I believe that the LED flashing on/off this fast is what seems to freeze up the app. I was able to get into interaction mode and select one of the buttons to latch it onto a value and the app stopped freezing up. However, the circuit seems to still not work properly unless there is a resistor between the LED and ground, though I don't think this resistor should be necessary. https://i.imgur.com/8SSN1HQ.png
